Environmental Management Methods for Trunk Road Adjacent Urban Areas
    (КНУБА, 2019) Priymachenko, Oleksiy
The efficient operation of all types of transport is an essential condition for the stable operation of Ukrainian economy. Since the transport industry of Ukraine is closely connected to almost all branches of production and social sphere, its trends in development follow the general dynamics of the country's economic development. At the same time, transport industry's development priorities should take into account the distinguishing features of road transport as a fast, convenient, mobile, socially significant mode of transport whose activities are subject to certain safety and environmental risks and guided by international regulatory and legal codes and standards. Today there are more than 1 million trucks and approx. 7 million cars in Ukraine, and this number is growing. This, in turn, leads to an increase in fuel and energy resources consumed by motor vehicles. Raising requirements on the ecological condition of the urban environment causes a problem in the effective planning and functioning of protective and planning elements of trunk road adjacent areas. Trunk road adjacent areas are those located along the main street and road network within the boundaries from the trunk road to the construction line. These are the boundaries of the location of houses and structures related to the red lines, according to the construction line definition. They account for about 15…30% of the city's area. The study of methodological foundations of sustainable development of urbanized areas should be based on a comprehensive, problem-oriented approach of various related scientific studies. There-fore, the task of studying the environmental impact of the main street network is relevant for the city. Thus, the city's main street and road network can be called the main source of complex ecological impacts, particularly on the intra-city environment and the environment, i.e. the urban eco-system as a whole. All-natural components of the urban environment, namely, geological, atmospheric, hydrological environment, are subject to harmful anthropogenic impact of the street and road network. The most critical is the atmospheric air condition, whose deterioration is a planetary scale problem.

Determination of limits for acoustical pollution from main roads at the stage of urban area zoning
(КНУБА, 2017) Priymachenko, Oleksiy; Shilova, Тetiana
At the present time, city planning specialists are capable of taking into account various factors relevant to the development and planning of urban areas with consideration for future environmental pressures and their limits. Due to this, it will be possible to save financial costs when carrying out actions required for decreasing the technogenic impact on the ecology and living environment, and planning the perspectives of regional development. For this reason, the analysis of environmental pressures from the city main roads network is relevant for any city. This paper contains the calculated data on the results of analysis of the city main roads characterized by different planning concepts. These data are required for determining the corresponding planning actions.

Model for effectiveness evaluation of planning measures for protection of areas surrounding main roads from the influence of environmental pressures of the Kyiv main road network
    (КНУБА, 2017) Priymachenko, Oleksiy
Raising the requirements to the ecological state of the urban environment engenders the issue of efficient planning and functioning of protection elements of areas surrounding main roads. Surrounding main roads are areas situated along the main trunk road networks within the space from the main road to the building line. As defined, the building lines are the boundaries of placing houses and buildings relative to frontage lines [1]. They make up about 15 − 30 % of a town or city area [2].Research of the methodological framework of the sustainable development of urbanized territories should be based on a complex problemoriented approach of different related scientific researches. This is why the task of examining the environmental pressures of main road network is highly relevant for a city. An analysis of Ukrainian regulatory documents showed that the development and feasibility evaluation of urban development regulations are insufficient for evaluation of planning measures for protection of the areas surrounding main roads. The mathematical and information models demonstrating the dependence of environmental pressures by factors and attributes in accordance with planning decisions were presented for the evaluation. On-sight surveys of a main road network with different planning criteria were conducted as exemplified by Kyiv, in the course of which data necessary for evaluating the efficiency of planning decisions were collected. On the basis of the obtained data recommendations on planning decisions for respective urban areas have been given.
