dc.description.abstract | The authors have considered the design of a three-span beam bridge of a given length under live load. The purpose of this study is obtaining an equally strong system, in which the maximum stresses in all elements are equal to the estimated ones. A few statically determinate and statically indeterminate systems have been considered to determine the optimal one. It has been proved that optimal solutions exist both in the set of statically determinate and indeterminate systems. | uk_UA |
