Abstract
Article analyzed the opportunities provided by modern geoinformation technologies and technologies for remote sensing of the Earth from space in the context of improving the State system of environmental management, nature conservation and environmental safety in the regions of Ukraine. An approach to zoning of territories regional level taking into account the integral indicators of ecological condition of the environment on the basis of relevant GIS-technologies.
